This website was created for ease-of-access to information on freshwater mussels. Many websites have incomplete information or are targeted towards academics who are already in the field. Most websites accessible to the public are hardly complete with species-specific details. Though this website isn't exhaustive, it will hopefully provide an improved resource bank on freshwater mussels (especially in Tennessee).
